Raamplak DAB+-autoantenne Sony ANT-DABMEXN6 voor DAB+-radio-ontvangst in de auto

Sony ANT-DABMEXN6 is a window-adhesive DAB+ antenna engineered for in-car digital radio reception. The compact adhesive antenna is designed to be mounted on a vehicle window and to improve DAB+ signal quality for compatible car head units from brands such as Sony, Pioneer and Kenwood. It provides an external option for installations where the factory-fitted antenna or built-in reception is insufficient, enabling clearer digital audio broadcasting reception in areas with marginal signal strength.

Advantages

The antenna offers a low-profile design and simple adhesive mounting that does not require drilling or permanent exterior fittings. Its compact form factor and cable routing are intended to minimise visual impact inside the vehicle while positioning the antenna close to the glass for improved DAB+ reception. The device is compatible with standard in-car DAB+ tuners and is suitable for retrofit installations and vehicles with poor built-in reception.

Suitable for

• Improving DAB+ radio reception in cars with weak factory antennas
• Retrofit installations with Sony, Pioneer, Kenwood and other compatible DAB+ head units
• Temporary or non-invasive antenna installation without exterior drilling
• Use in urban and suburban areas where reception can be variable

Key specifications

• Type: Adhesive window-mounted DAB+ antenna
• Frequency coverage: DAB+ band (digital audio broadcasting)
• Form factor: Compact, low-profile adhesive pad
• Installation: Internal mounting on vehicle glass, cable for connection to car head unit
• Compatibility: Designed for use with in-car DAB+ tuners and head units from major brands

How to use

Clean the chosen area of the vehicle window thoroughly and allow it to dry. Peel the protective film from the adhesive pad and press the antenna firmly onto the inner surface of the glass, ensuring good contact. Route the cable along interior trim to the head unit and make the connection to the DAB+ antenna input according to the head unit manufacturer’s instructions. After installation, perform a channel scan on the DAB+ receiver to confirm improved reception and adjust the antenna position on the glass if necessary.

Recommendations

Place the antenna on a clear section of glass away from metallic tinting or heavily curved areas for best performance. Avoid placing the antenna where it obstructs the driver’s view. For optimal results, route the cable so it does not interfere with airbags or moving trim panels and consult the car head unit manual for any model-specific connection details.
