Front cover breakout box by helos designed for 19" rack installation with a width of 48.3 cm. Model 257711 in grey offers a standardized, compact front panel solution for protecting and organizing cable or fiber terminations in server rooms, network cabinets and telecom enclosures. The unit integrates with 19-inch mounting rails and provides a clean front appearance while allowing internal cable management and access from the front of the rack.

Advantages

The helos rack-mount front cover breakout box is built for compatibility with standard 19" racks and cabinets, ensuring straightforward installation and alignment. Its compact 48.3 cm width matches common rack mounting dimensions and the grey finish provides a neutral, professional appearance. The cover protects internal terminations from dust and accidental contact while supporting tidy cable routing behind the faceplate. Designed for passive front access, it helps maintain a consistent front presentation and reduces the need for custom panel cutting or on-site modifications.

Suitable for

• Server rooms and data centers requiring compact front panels
• Network cabinets and telecom enclosures for fiber or copper terminations
• Equipment racks where front access and protection of cable ends is needed
• Installation projects that follow industry-standard 19" mounting

How to use

Use internal cable guides or brackets where available to maintain bend radii and separation between fibers and copper cables. The front cover permits access for inspection and maintenance while keeping terminations protected from dust and accidental contact.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, mount the unit in an environment that meets standard equipment room conditions (temperature and humidity), avoid excessive mechanical stress on cables, and maintain proper bend radius for fibers. Use compatible rack hardware and follow local installation standards when integrating this front cover into existing rack systems.
