Rackplateau Equip Variable Shelf 19' 1U 350MM zwart

The Equip Variable Shelf 19' 1U 350MM Black is a 19-inch rack shelf engineered for stable support of server and network hardware. With external width of 485 mm and depth of 347 mm, the shelf fits standard 19" racks and provides a load capacity up to 100 kg. Constructed to combine space efficiency and durability, the unit has a black finish and a compact 1U height for use in server rooms, communications cabinets and equipment racks.

Advantages

The shelf offers a high static load capacity of up to 100 kg while keeping a low unit height of 1U, allowing installation of heavy or irregularly shaped devices without occupying excessive rack space. Its 485 mm width and 347 mm depth provide a stable mounting surface for a wide range of appliances. The black finish ensures a neutral appearance that integrates with existing rack equipment. The product weight is 2.38 kg, which makes it easy to handle during installation.

Suitable for

• Mounting servers, switches and network appliances that require a flat supporting surface
• Holding UPS units, external storage devices or power distribution modules
• Use in IT racks, telecom cabinets and AV racks where a durable 1U shelf is needed

How to use

Install the shelf into standard 19" rack uprights at the desired position, aligning the mounting holes with the rack thread or square-hole pattern. Secure the shelf with appropriate rack screws and cage nuts or fasteners compatible with your rack type. Place equipment centrally on the shelf to distribute weight evenly and avoid overhanging loads. Verify that the combined weight does not exceed the rated 100 kg capacity and route cables to prevent strain on mounted devices.

Recommendations

For safe operation, use compatible rack mounting hardware and position heavier items as low in the rack as practical to maintain cabinet stability. Regularly check fasteners and load distribution, and avoid exceeding the specified 100 kg load. If mounting unusually shaped or vibrating equipment, consider additional securing straps or brackets to prevent movement.
