Rackserver ASUS ESC8000A-E13P (4U) — LGA 6096, AMD EPYC, tot 3 TB DDR5, 24 DIMM, 3200W PSU, 10GbE

ASUS ESC8000A-E13P is a 4U rack server built for dense compute and memory‑intensive deployments. It supports two AMD EPYC processors on LGA 6096 sockets and up to 3 TB of DDR5 memory across 24 DIMM slots. The chassis accommodates high-performance GPU configurations—up to eight dual-slot NVIDIA H200 or NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition accelerators—and provides five PCIe 5.0 expansion slots and multiple 2.5" NVMe drive bays. Integrated Intel X710-AT2 delivers 10 GbE networking, and a 3200 W power supply supports demanding data center workloads. Available in silver and black, the server is optimized for Enterprise AI, HPC and other large-scale compute tasks.

Advantages

The server combines dual-socket AMD EPYC performance with high GPU density to enable large-scale parallel processing and accelerated computing. Support for up to 24 DDR5 DIMMs and a 12-channel memory architecture provides high memory capacity and bandwidth for memory‑bound applications. Five PCIe 5.0 slots and NVMe storage support deliver high I/O throughput, while the integrated 10 GbE controller and redundant 3200 W power solution ensure stable network connectivity and reliable power delivery for continuous operation. Toolless servicing features reduce maintenance time in rack environments.

Suitable for

• Enterprise AI training and inference clusters
• High performance computing (HPC) and scientific simulations
• GPU-accelerated virtualization and VDI hosts
• Large-scale data analytics and machine learning pipelines
• Render farms and media production workflows

How to use

Install the server into a standard 19-inch rack using appropriate rails and rack-mount tools. Populate CPU sockets with compatible AMD EPYC processors and install memory modules across the 24 DIMM slots following channel population guidelines from the vendor. Configure GPU accelerators in available slots and connect any NVMe or 2.5" drives in the hot-swap bays. Attach network cabling to the integrated 10 GbE ports and verify power connections to the 3200 W supply. Use the provided BIOS/UEFI and system management utilities to configure boot order, RAID or NVMe settings, and firmware updates. For multi-node deployments, integrate with data center management tools and orchestration platforms as required.

Recommendations

For best results, pair the ESC8000A-E13P with server-class AMD EPYC 9005 CPUs matched to your workload, use certified GPUs supported by NVIDIA MGX if deploying large GPU clusters, populate memory evenly across channels to maximise bandwidth, and maintain proper rack cooling and power distribution. Ensure firmware and driver stacks are kept current and follow vendor guidelines for GPU interconnects (NVLink or platform-recommended fabric) when deploying multi-GPU configurations.
