Randloos beeldschermfilter Durable 515857 40,6 cm 16 inch

The Durable frameless display privacy filter for 40.6 cm (16 inch) screens provides discreet on-screen privacy and basic surface protection. Designed without a visible frame, the filter mounts directly on the display and narrows the on-axis viewing cone to reduce side viewing. The matte surface finish reduces reflections and glare while offering resistance to dust and minor scratches, helping to keep the laptop screen readable and protected in shared or public environments.

Advantages

The frameless construction maintains the original look of the laptop while adding privacy protection. With a 60-degree effective privacy angle, the filter prevents clear side viewing without significantly darkening the screen for the user directly in front. The matte coating suppresses reflections and fingerprints and the material is designed to resist everyday dust and minor abrasion, extending the useful life of the display surface.

Suitable for

• Office work with sensitive data on 16-inch laptops
• Travel and public transport where shoulder surfing may occur
• Shared workspaces, meetings, or study areas
• Users who need glare reduction and basic scratch protection

Key specifications

• Compatible screen diagonal: 40.6 cm (16 inch)
• Design: frameless (adhesive or mounting strips not visible on bezel)
• Viewing angle limitation: approximately 60 degrees
• Surface finish: matte to reduce reflections and glare
• Protection features: dust and scratch resistance for everyday use

How to use

Before application, clean the laptop screen with a soft, lint-free cloth and, if needed, a screen-safe cleaner to remove dust and oils. Align the frameless filter with the display edges and attach according to the included mounting method (adhesive tabs or slide-on strips), ensuring there are no trapped air bubbles. For removal, gently lift a corner and peel the filter away from the display, then store flat or in the original protective sleeve to avoid deformation or scratches.

Recommendations

For best results, maintain the matte surface by regularly dusting with a soft microfiber cloth and avoid abrasive cleaners. Check display compatibility prior to installation and ensure the selected 40.6 cm (16 inch) filter matches the visible screen area of your laptop. Remove the filter carefully if you need to use touch input frequently or to allow maximum brightness when color-critical work is required.
