RCA (cinch) Y-adapter SpeaKa Professional SP-2873360 — 1x bus naar 2x bus

SpeaKa Professional SP-2873360 is an RCA (Cinch) Y-adapter that converts a single female RCA connection into two female RCA outputs. The adapter provides a compact passive solution for splitting an analog line-level audio signal from one source to two destinations or for joining two outputs where signal summing is acceptable. Its simple construction makes it suitable for quick, low-cost routing in home audio, DJ setups, recording scenarios and basic AV systems.

Advantages

The adapter is compact and lightweight, allowing easy placement behind equipment or inside racks without occupying much space. As a passive RCA splitter it requires no power and has no active electronics, which preserves simplicity and compatibility with standard line-level devices. The straightforward design facilitates fast installation and dependable mechanical contact for consistent analog signal transfer between devices.

Suitable for

• Splitting a line-level audio output to feed two amplifiers or mixers
• Connecting two recorders or monitoring devices to one playback source
• Basic routing in home AV systems and media centers
• Temporary DJ setups and rehearsal configurations

Key specifications

• Connector type: RCA (Cinch) female to dual RCA (Cinch) female
• Function: passive Y-splitter for analog line-level audio
• Signal type: unbalanced stereo/mono analog audio (depending on source wiring)
• Construction: single-piece passive adapter designed for mechanical connection
• Form factor: compact inline adapter for space-efficient installation

How to use

Insert the male RCA plug from the source device into the single female port of the adapter, then connect the two target devices using male-to-male RCA cables into the adapter’s dual female outputs. Ensure all equipment is powered off or volume levels are low when making connections to avoid transient noises. Verify correct channel routing (left/right or mono) according to the source and target devices’ wiring before increasing levels.

Recommendations

Use this passive RCA Y-adapter for non-critical splitting of line-level signals where isolation, impedance matching or signal buffering are not required. Avoid using it to combine two active outputs simultaneously without appropriate mixing or buffering, as this can cause signal degradation or equipment stress. For longer cable runs or professional installations consider using active splitters or buffered distribution amplifiers.
