Reinigingsspiraal Rothenberger 7.2981E — accessoire voor het reinigen van buizen van Rothenberger

Rothenberger Cleaning Spiral 7.2981E is a drain cleaning spiral accessory designed to assist with removing hair, debris and minor blockages from domestic and light commercial drain lines. Intended for use with compatible manual or powered drain cleaning devices, the flexible steel spiral reaches into pipes and traps to grip and extract obstructions while preserving the pipe interior. The accessory is suitable for routine maintenance and targeted clearing of small to medium clogs in sinks, showers and floor drains.

Advantages

The cleaning spiral delivers targeted mechanical action to dislodge and extract common blockages such as hair and compacted debris without using chemicals. Its flexible construction allows navigation through bends and traps while maintaining sufficient stiffness to push through soft obstructions. As a dedicated accessory for Rothenberger-compatible drain cleaners, it simplifies clog removal and helps reduce the need for repeated chemical treatments or replacement of short sections of pipe.

Suitable for

• Removing hair and debris from bathroom and kitchen sink drains
• Clearing small to medium clogs in shower and bathtub drains
• Maintenance of floor drains and utility sinks
• Use with compatible manual or powered drain cleaning tools

Key specifications

• Construction: flexible steel spiral designed for drain work
• Compatibility: for use with compatible manual and powered drain cleaning devices
• Application: designed for small to medium obstructions in household drains
• Design purpose: penetration, snagging and extraction of hair and soft debris

How to use

Feed the spiral carefully into the drain outlet while the associated cleaning device is set according to the manufacturer's instructions. Advance the spiral until resistance indicates contact with the blockage, then use rotational and push–pull movements to engage and loosen material. Withdraw the spiral slowly to extract debris; repeat the operation if necessary until normal flow is restored. After use, clean the spiral to remove residues and store it dry to prevent corrosion.

Recommendations

Before use, verify that the spiral length and diameter are suitable for the drain being serviced and confirm compatibility with the drain cleaning device. Avoid forcing the spiral in cases of heavy resistance to prevent damage to pipe linings. For persistent or severe blockages, consult a professional plumber or use an appropriately rated powered drain cleaning system.
