Reparatietape Tesa ULTRA POWER EXTREME 50 mm x 25 m – extra sterk, dik klevend

Tesa ULTRA POWER EXTREME repair tape 50 mm x 25 m is a robust, general-purpose repair tape with a thick, extra-strong adhesive layer engineered for demanding fixing and sealing tasks. The tape combines a tear-resistant backing with a high-tack adhesive to provide long-lasting bonds on a wide range of substrates. It is intended for applications that require reliable temporary or semi-permanent holding strength and mechanical reinforcement without specialised tools, and can be applied by hand.

Advantages

The product offers exceptional adhesion and shear resistance thanks to its thick adhesive layer, ensuring secure attachment on both smooth and slightly textured surfaces. The backing material resists tearing and provides dimensional stability for patches and reinforcements. Its 50 mm width and 25 m length deliver a balance of coverage and manoeuvrability for small repairs up to larger jobs, while the tape’s hand-tearable nature enables quick application without a dispenser.

Suitable for

• Sealing seams, joints and ductwork temporarily or for maintenance
• Reinforcing torn materials such as fabric, tarpaulin or flexible plastic
• Patching holes and cracks in non-structural surfaces
• Bundling and holding components during assembly or transport
• DIY repairs, workshop and general maintenance tasks

Key specifications

• Width: 50 mm
• Length: 25 m
• Adhesive type: extra-strong, thick adhesive
• Backing: tear-resistant cloth/plastic composite
• Application: manual, hand-tearable
• Suitable surfaces: smooth and slightly textured substrates

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free of oil or dust before application. Cut or tear the required length of tape and press it firmly onto the repair area, smoothing from the centre outwards to expel air pockets. For best adhesion, apply firm pressure along the entire length of the tape and allow the adhesive to set. For increased durability on edges or corners, overlap tape ends by a few millimetres and press firmly.

Recommendations

Use the tape at moderate temperatures and avoid applying to wet surfaces for optimal bond strength. For prolonged outdoor exposure or load-bearing structural repairs, evaluate the suitablity of a permanent repair method. Store the roll in a cool, dry place to preserve adhesive performance.
