Riemgedreven audioplatenspeler TEAC TN-180BT-A3 zwart cherry

The TEAC TN-180BT-A3 Black Cherry is a semi-automatic belt-drive audio turntable designed to reproduce vinyl records with clarity and convenience. Finished in a black and cherry wood tone, this compact player combines a statically balanced 20 cm tonearm, a high-torque DC belt-drive motor, and a wooden high-density MDF cabinet to reduce resonance and improve sound quality. The turntable supports three speeds (33 1/3, 45 and 78 rpm) and includes a pre-installed VM/MM-type cartridge for immediate use. In addition to conventional RCA outputs (PHONO/LINE), the unit features a built-in Bluetooth transmitter for wireless streaming to compatible speakers or headphones up to approximately 10 meters.

Advantages

The TN-180BT-A3 uses a belt-drive mechanism and a high-density MDF single-board cabinet to dampen vibrations and provide a clearer, more natural vinyl sound than many entry-level direct-drive units. A statically balanced straight tonearm with a pre-installed VM/MM cartridge allows quick setup and accurate tracking. Built-in Bluetooth transmission and selectable PHONO or LINE outputs make it easy to connect to powered speakers, amplifiers, or Bluetooth audio devices without additional equipment. The semi-automatic design with auto-return simplifies playback, while compact dimensions and modest power consumption suit small living spaces.

How to use

Place the turntable on a stable, level surface and connect the included RCA cable to a powered speaker, amplifier or keep the unit in Bluetooth pairing mode to connect wirelessly to compatible speakers or headphones. Lift the dust cover and place a record on the platter, select the appropriate speed for the record, and lower the tonearm to begin playback. The semi-automatic mechanism returns the tonearm to its rest at the end of playback. If using a system without a dedicated phono input, switch the unit to LINE output; when connecting to a phono input, use the PHONO setting to employ the built-in phono equalizer.

Recommendations

To protect the cartridge and stylus, avoid prolonged playback of 78 rpm records with the pre-installed stylus; check stylus condition regularly and replace it or use a dedicated stylus for 78 rpm records if you play them often. Keep the turntable away from strong vibrations and direct sunlight, and ensure the platter and stylus are clean for optimal playback.
