RJ-45 wandcontactdoos ShiverPeaks BS08-10030

The ShiverPeaks BS08-10030 RJ-45 socket outlet is a Category 6a rated wall socket designed for high-speed wired networking. Finished in metallic with a white faceplate, this outlet combines a modern appearance with functional performance. It supports up to Cat6a data transmission standards for applications that require enhanced bandwidth and lower crosstalk, and is suitable for residential and commercial installations where a reliable Ethernet connection is needed.

Advantages

This RJ-45 socket outlet offers Category 6a performance, providing support for higher data rates and improved signal integrity compared with lower category sockets. The metallic and white finish gives a contemporary look that integrates into different interior styles while the modular design enables straightforward mounting in standard wall boxes. The construction is intended for consistent connector alignment and stable cable contacts to reduce connection issues during regular use.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections in homes and offices
• Network points for VoIP phones, IP cameras, and networked printers
• Structured cabling installations requiring Cat6a performance
• Environments where a discreet, modern wall outlet aesthetic is desired

Key specifications

• Connector type: RJ-45 female socket compatible with standard Ethernet plugs
• Category rating: Cat6a (supports higher bandwidth and reduced crosstalk)
• Finish: metallic accents with white faceplate
• Mounting: fits standard in-wall mounting boxes and faceplate frames
• Cable termination: suitable for twisted-pair Ethernet cabling (shielded or unshielded as per installation)

How to use

Install the socket outlet into a standard in-wall mounting box following local electrical and cabling regulations. Terminate the network cable conductors according to the chosen wiring scheme (T568A or T568B) and ensure proper seating and shielding where applicable. Secure the module into the faceplate frame and fix the faceplate to the wall box. After installation, test the link with appropriate network testers to verify continuity, pair assignment, and performance to Cat6a standards before connecting active equipment.

Recommendations

For best performance, use high-quality Cat6a cabling and maintain correct pair untwisting limits during termination. Avoid routing Ethernet cables alongside strong electrical power lines to minimize interference. Verify installation with a certified cable tester if the network will carry mission-critical traffic or high-bandwidth services.
