Clip-on-microfoon RØDE Wireless Micro — draadloze USB-lavalier, 20–20000 Hz, 24-bit, 100 m bereik, wit

RØDE Wireless Micro is a pocket-sized clip-on wireless lavalier microphone with a USB interface designed for smartphone recording, live streaming, interviews, vlogging and mobile content creation. The system includes two ultra-compact transmitters with built-in omnidirectional microphones, an integrated receiver that connects directly to your device via USB, a pocket charging case and a USB cable. It delivers 24-bit audio across a frequency range of 20–20000 Hz, operates reliably up to 100 m in clear line-of-sight conditions and is finished in white for discreet on-camera use.

Advantages

The Wireless Micro offers automatic pairing and built-in microphones so you can start recording in seconds without additional adapters or cables. Its patent-pending acoustic chamber reduces wind noise and plosives while maintaining clear and intelligible capture, and GainAssist technology automatically optimises input levels to prevent clipping and preserve detail. The pocket-sized charging case extends operating time with additional charges for up to 21 hours of total battery life, and the transmitters feature integrated clips and magnetic mounts for fast, secure attachment to clothing.

How to use

Attach each clip-on transmitter to the talent’s clothing using the integrated clip or magnetic mount so the capsule sits near the chest area for natural voice capture. Connect the included USB receiver directly to your smartphone’s USB-C or Lightning port (select the appropriate receiver version for your device). The system pairs automatically; verify that the receiver is recognised by your recording app or device audio input. Use your preferred recording or streaming app and monitor levels if available; GainAssist will adjust levels automatically to reduce the need for manual gain control. Recharge transmitters in the supplied pocket charging case using the included USB cable between sessions.

Recommendations

Position the microphones 15–25 cm from the speaker’s mouth for optimal speech clarity while avoiding direct breath onto the capsule. Use the included furry windshields in outdoor or windy conditions to reduce wind noise, and choose the white finish to better match light-coloured clothing for a discreet on-camera appearance. For best wireless performance, maintain clear line of sight between transmitters and receiver and avoid placing the receiver inside metal enclosures or behind large obstacles.
