ROLINE USB-kabel 12.04.1068 USB 3.2 Gen 1 20 m USB-C USB-A zwart

ROLINE USB cable 12.04.1068 is an active 20 m extension cable with a USB C male connector on one end and a USB A female connector on the other. It supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (also known as USB 3.1 Gen 1) data rates up to 5 Gbit/s, allowing high-speed data transfer over longer distances while maintaining compatibility between USB‑C devices and USB‑A peripherals. The cable is black and designed for reliable signal transmission over its 20 m length.

Advantages

The active design ensures signal integrity and stable data rates up to 5 Gbit/s across the full 20 m length. With USB C to USB A connectivity, the cable enables straightforward connection of modern USB‑C hosts to legacy USB‑A devices without adapters. Its plug‑and‑play operation requires no drivers and the black jacket provides a discreet, professional appearance.

Suitable for

• Extending a USB‑C host connection to a USB‑A peripheral over long distances
• Connecting external storage, webcams or USB hubs where a 20 m reach is required
• Installations in offices, conference rooms, classrooms or production environments

Because the cable is active, no additional power or drivers are normally required; if a connected peripheral requires external power, provide it according to the device manufacturer’s instructions.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends, kinks or placing heavy objects on the cable. Use in environments within the manufacturer’s specified operating conditions and keep connectors free of dust. If a device does not enumerate or operates intermittently, verify connections and try a different USB port or cable to isolate the issue.
