Rookmelder Busch-Jaeger 2CKA006800A2718 fotoelektrisch reflectieprincipe netwerkbaar bedraad, Ø12 cm, H47,5 mm

Wired photoelectrical reflection smoke detector Busch-Jaeger 2CKA006800A2718 with a diameter of 12 cm and height 47.5 mm. The device detects visible smoke particles using a light-scattering sensor and is designed for wired interconnection to other detectors or a compatible alarm system. Intended for installation in residential and commercial spaces where early detection and networked alarm signaling are required.

Advantages

The photoelectric reflection principle provides reliable detection of smouldering and flaming fires by sensing light scattered by smoke particles. Wired interconnectability allows multiple detectors to share alarm signals and integrate with centralised alarm or building automation systems. The compact round housing with a 12 cm diameter and a height of 47.5 mm supports unobtrusive ceiling or wall mounting while maintaining sufficient internal volume for optical components and wiring connections. The design from busch jaeger follows common installation practices for fixed wired detectors, enabling straightforward integration during new construction or renovation.

How to use

Install the detector on the ceiling or high on a wall according to applicable national and local electrical and fire safety regulations. Connect the unit to the building's alarm wiring and any interconnect bus following the manufacturer's wiring diagram and polarity requirements. After electrical connection, perform functional tests as specified by the installer or maintenance instructions to verify alarm signalling and interconnect operation. Routine testing and maintenance should be scheduled to ensure continued sensitivity and proper network signalling.

Recommendations

Place detectors in circulation areas and sleeping spaces, avoid installing directly above heat sources or in locations prone to dust, steam or strong drafts. Follow local codes for spacing and zoning of wired, interconnectable detectors and use qualified personnel for wiring and commissioning.
