Rugzak DEUTER Guide 32+8 SL — dameswandelrugzak, 32+8 L, lagoon-ink

DEUTER Guide 32+8 SL is a women's hiking backpack with a 32+8 litre capacity designed for multi-day treks and outdoor activities. The SL model provides a contoured female-specific fit and an adjustable carrying system to stabilize loads on uneven terrain. The pack is top-loading with an integrated +8 L extension, multiple external attachment points and pockets for organization, and padded shoulder straps and a supportive hipbelt to improve weight distribution.

Advantages

The women’s-specific SL cut and adjustable back system deliver a secure, ergonomic fit that reduces shoulder and back strain on long hikes. The extendable top compartment increases usable volume for flexible packing while maintaining a compact profile when not extended. Multiple external pockets and attachment points allow quick access to essentials and secure fastening of trekking poles or ice tools. Padded harness and hipbelt combine with anatomical shaping to transfer weight to the hips and stabilize heavy loads.

How to use

Load heavier items close to your back and centered over the hipbelt to maintain balance. Use the +8 L top extension for bulky items or to increase capacity on longer trips, and compress the pack when the extension is not needed. Secure external tools and poles to the designated attachment points and keep frequently used items in accessible pockets. Adjust the shoulder straps and hipbelt so the hipbelt rests on the iliac crest and the shoulder straps follow the contour of your shoulders for optimal weight transfer.

Recommendations

For comfort on multi-day treks, dial in the SL adjustable back system before setting off and periodically re-check strap tension as load and terrain change. Distribute weight evenly, protect the pack from prolonged wet conditions, and store sharp items in protective sleeves or separate pockets to preserve fabric and seams.
