Salter SA00300 GGFEU16 Add and Weigh zwart

The Salter SA00300 GGFEU16 Add and Weigh Black is a kitchen scale designed for everyday food preparation. It has a compact footprint and a contemporary black finish with a large LCD display that shows weight readings clearly. The scale supports an add-and-weigh function to accumulate multiple ingredient weights, and includes a tare feature to reset the display when using containers or bowls. With a maximum capacity of 5 kg it covers most domestic cooking and baking needs and its smooth surface is simple to clean after use.

Advantages

The add-and-weigh capability streamlines multi-ingredient recipes by allowing successive weighing without removing earlier items. A large backlit LCD ensures legible readings even in low light. The tare function provides accurate net weights when using dishes or mixing bowls. The scale’s compact size and slim profile make it easy to store, and the wipe-clean surface reduces maintenance time.

Suitable for

• Measuring dry and wet ingredients for cooking and baking

• Small-batch food production and recipe development
• Everyday kitchen use where space is limited

• Maximum capacity: 5 kg
• Display: large LCD
• Functions: add-and-weigh, tare
• Design: compact black housing with flat weighing platform

How to use

Place the scale on a stable, level surface and press the power button to switch it on. If using a bowl or container, place it on the platform and press the tare button to zero the display. Add the first ingredient, then press the add-and-weigh or tare function as required to accumulate subsequent ingredient weights. Read the weight from the large LCD and, when finished, switch the scale off to conserve battery life. Clean the platform with a damp cloth and mild detergent as needed, taking care not to immerse the unit in water.

Recommendations

For the most accurate results, avoid weighing on uneven or soft surfaces and allow the scale to stabilise before recording measurements. Use the tare function to measure multiple ingredients without transferring contents to different containers, and store the scale in a dry place away from direct heat or sunlight.
