SATA-kabel Akasa PROSLIM 30 cm AK-CBSA05-30BK

The Akasa PROSLIM SATA 3.0 cable (30 cm) is a compact male-to-male SATA cable designed for internal PC connections. It supports SATA III transfer rates up to 6 Gb/s while remaining backwards compatible with SATA I and II. The slim, flexible design and stackable connector make it suitable for builds with restricted space, helping to maintain tidy cable routing inside the case.

Advantages

The PROSLIM cable offers a slim profile and high flexibility that simplifies installation in tight-fitting environments. With support for SATA 3.0 speeds up to 6 Gb/s and compatibility with earlier SATA revisions, it ensures reliable data transfer across a range of storage devices. The securing latches on both 7-pin connectors provide a stable connection that reduces the risk of accidental disconnection.

Suitable for

• Connecting internal SSDs and HDDs to the motherboard or SATA controller
• Small form factor PCs and compact builds where space is limited
• Upgrading or replacing existing SATA data cables

Key specifications

• Cable type: SATA III (SATA 3.0)
• Transfer rate: up to 6 Gb/s (backwards compatible with SATA I/II)
• Connector: SATA 7-pin to SATA 7-pin with securing latches
• Length: 0.3 m (30 cm)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Connect one 7-pin SATA connector to the motherboard or SATA controller and the other 7-pin connector to the SATA port on the SSD or HDD. Ensure the securing latches engage to lock the connectors in place. Route the cable along available cable channels or behind drive bays to minimize obstruction and improve airflow.

Recommendations

Use the cable inside a powered-off system and handle connectors by their housings to avoid bending pins. For optimal performance, use with devices and controllers that support SATA III to achieve the full 6 Gb/s transfer rate; the cable remains compatible with SATA I/II devices at their respective speeds.
