SCART-omschakelbox ShiverPeaks 5-poorts met 0,4 m SCART-kabel (model 22224021)

SCART switch box ShiverPeaks 5-port with 0.4 m SCART cable (model 22224021) is a compact passive selector that allows manual switching between up to five SCART-equipped audio/video sources and a single SCART display input. Supplied with an attached 0.4 m SCART lead, the unit follows standard SCART wiring and is intended for basic AV routing in home entertainment setups where older DVD players, set-top boxes, or game consoles need to be connected without repeated plugging and unplugging.

Advantages

The ShiverPeaks 5-port SCART switch provides a simple mechanical switching solution with a small footprint and no external power supply required. With an integrated 0.4 m SCART cable, it reduces cable clutter and streamlines the connection to the TV or monitor. As a passive, universally wired device, it preserves compatibility with standard analog SCART signals and enables quick manual selection among multiple sources.

Suitable for

• Connecting multiple SCART devices (DVD players, set-top boxes, game consoles) to a single TV input
• Home entertainment systems using legacy analog AV equipment
• Temporary setups where easy manual switching between sources is required

Key specifications

• Number of input ports: up to five SCART device connections
• Output: single SCART cable, length 0.4 m
• Connection type: standard SCART connectors with universal wiring for stereo analog signals
• Power: passive operation, does not require external power
• Form factor: compact inline switch box for tabletop or behind-TV placement

How to use

Connect the attached 0.4 m SCART cable from the switch box to the SCART input on your TV or monitor. Plug up to five SCART source devices into the input couplers on the switch box. Use the manual selector on the unit to choose the active source; switching is mechanical and instantaneous. Ensure both the display and the selected source are powered on and set to the appropriate AV input on the TV.

Recommendations

For reliable signal transfer, keep SCART cable runs short and avoid excessive bending at connector points. Use the switch box in dry indoor environments and handle connectors gently when inserting or removing devices. If using devices with RGB signals or special pin configurations, verify compatibility since the switch is a passive, universally wired SCART selector.
