Schildersafplakband Tesa 4306 25 mm x 50 m, licht gekrept

Tesa Masking Tape 4306 25 mm x 50 m is a weakly creped painter's tape designed for accurate masking and protection of surfaces during indoor painting and decorating tasks. The slightly creped paper backing conforms to moderately curved edges and provides a predictable tear while maintaining a thin profile for precise paint lines. The adhesive is formulated for reliable hold on typical interior substrates and allows clean removal without leaving residue when used under recommended conditions.

Advantages

The weakly creped backing balances flexibility and dimensional stability for controlled application and straight edges. Its adhesive offers strong initial tack with good adhesion to painted walls, wood, glass and metal, yet is removable without damage or residue when taken off within the appropriate time frame. The tape's narrow 25 mm width is suitable for fine-detail masking and trim work, and the 50 m length provides multiple uses from a single roll.

Suitable for

• Masking narrow trim, mouldings and window frames
• Precise paint-line creation for interior walls and decorative elements
• Hobby and craft projects requiring thin, conformable tape
• Light renovation tasks and temporary surface protection
• Professional finishing work where clean removal is required

Key specifications

• Backing material: lightly creped paper for controlled flexibility
• Width: 25 mm
• Length: 50 m
• Adhesive type: general-purpose, indoor-grade, residue-free removal when used correctly
• Typical removal: clean removal from painted surfaces when removed within recommended time
• Suitable surface types: painted plaster, wood, glass, metal and similar interior substrates

How to use

Ensure the surface is dry, clean and free of dust, grease or loose particles before application. Unroll the tape and press it firmly along the edge to be masked, smoothing from the center outward to avoid gaps. For best results, apply the tape along straight or moderately curved edges, then paint over the edge. Remove the tape carefully at a low angle shortly after the paint becomes touch‑dry or within the manufacturer’s recommended removal window to reduce the risk of paint lifting or adhesive transfer.

Recommendations

Do not expose the tape to direct sunlight or high temperatures for extended periods prior to use. Test on an inconspicuous area if the substrate is newly painted, delicate, or previously varnished. For long-term outdoor masking or high-temperature applications, select a tape specifically designed for those conditions.
