maskeercrepetape 3M 201E 50 m x 72 mm, zelfklevend, papierrug

3M 201E masking crepe tape, 50 m long and 72 mm wide, is a pressure-sensitive tape with a crepe paper backing designed to provide clean paint lines and temporary surface protection. The tape adheres to painted, metal and glass surfaces, tears easily by hand and is formulated for residue-free removal when used correctly.

Advantages

The crepe paper backing offers conformability to irregular surfaces while maintaining sufficient tensile strength for light bundling and protection tasks. The pressure-sensitive adhesive provides reliable hold during painting and peels off cleanly if removed within recommended time limits. The tape’s easy hand-tearability speeds application without a dispenser.

How to use

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free of dust or loose particles. Unroll the tape and apply by hand, pressing the adhesive firmly onto the surface to prevent paint bleed. For best results, remove the tape slowly at a low angle while the paint is dry to the touch or within the manufacturer’s recommended time frame to avoid adhesive transfer.

Recommendations

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Test on a small inconspicuous area before extended use on delicate or newly painted surfaces to confirm clean removal.
