Schoffel Push & Pull Fiskars QuikFit 1000734

The Fiskars QuikFit Push & Pull Hoe is a gardening tool designed for efficient weeding and soil cultivation. The implement features a trapeze-shaped stainless steel blade 18.7 cm wide that cuts roots and slices through soil with minimal effort. Its Push & Pull design enables both pushing and pulling motions to clear weeds and break surface soil, improving planting beds and pathways. Built for durability, the hoe attaches to the QuikFit handle system to offer stable connection and easy interchange with other compatible heads.

Advantages

The stainless steel trapeze blade provides a balance of sharpness and corrosion resistance, helping maintain performance over multiple seasons. The 18.7 cm working width covers a useful area with each pass, reducing the number of strokes required for weeding. The Push & Pull configuration improves control in narrow rows and around plants by allowing effective cutting in both directions. Compatibility with the QuikFit handle system simplifies storage and lets users swap heads quickly without tools.

Suitable for

• Weeding between rows and around ornamental plants
• Surface soil cultivation and light soil loosening
• Preparing beds and pathways for planting
• Working in raised beds and narrow garden spaces

Key specifications

• Blade material: stainless steel
• Blade shape: trapeze
• Working width: 18.7 cm
• Design: Push & Pull dual-action blade
• Attachment: compatible with QuikFit handle system

How to use

Attach the hoe head securely to a compatible QuikFit handle following the handle manufacturer's instructions. Hold the handle at a comfortable height and position the blade at a shallow angle to the soil surface. Use short pushing or pulling strokes to slice through weed roots and break up compacted surface soil. For best results, work in both directions to remove cut material from the bed and reduce regrowth. Clean soil and debris from the blade after use and inspect the attachment point before storing.

Recommendations

Use the Push & Pull hoe on dry to slightly moist soil for easier slicing action; avoid using on heavy clay when fully waterlogged. Regularly rinse and dry the stainless steel blade after use to minimise corrosion and maintain cutting performance. When working near plant stems, use controlled short strokes to avoid accidental damage.
