Schroef Fischer 670275 60 mm

Fischer 670275 60 mm screws are stainless steel wood screws designed for reliable fastening in timber and wood-based materials. Each screw measures 60 mm in overall length with a thread diameter of 4.5 mm and an effective thread length of approximately 36 mm. The pack contains 500 pieces, suitable for trade, professional and larger DIY projects where corrosion resistance and consistent performance are required.

Advantages

These stainless steel screws offer corrosion resistance suitable for indoor and exterior wood applications where moisture exposure may occur. The 4.5 mm thread diameter provides a balance between holding power and ease of driving into common construction timbers. A consistent thread length and uniform manufacturing ensure repeatable performance across large batches, making these screws convenient for bulk use and professional workflows.

Suitable for

• Timber framing and carpentry
• Decking and outdoor wood structures (where stainless steel is required)
• Furniture assembly and wooden fixtures
• General wood-to-wood fastening in renovation and construction

Key specifications

• Material: stainless steel
• Overall length: 60 mm
• Thread diameter: 4.5 mm
• Thread length: approx. 36 mm
• Pack quantity: 500 pieces
• Intended application: wood fastening

How to use

Select a compatible screwdriver bit or drill driver set to match the screw head type. For best results in hardwood, pre-drill a pilot hole with an appropriate drill diameter to avoid splitting; in softwood a pilot hole may not be necessary depending on the application. Drive the screw steadily until the head is flush with or slightly below the wood surface, avoiding over-torquing which can damage the wood or strip the screw. When using outdoors or in high-humidity environments, ensure mating materials are compatible with stainless steel fasteners.

Recommendations

Use corrosion-resistant washers or matched stainless fasteners for connections exposed to weather or treated timber. Store the screws in a dry area to maintain packaging integrity and sort by size/type before beginning large installations to improve workflow.
