Schroeven- & pluggenset Fischer 519772

The fischer cavity metal anchor HM-S is a versatile metal anchor with a metric internal thread for fixing into panel building materials such as gypsum fibre board and plasterboard. The kit contains anchors suitable for board thicknesses from 3 to 50 mm and is intended for mounting items like lights, towel rails and curtain rails where a secure fixing in a hollow panel is required.

Advantages

The HM-S range covers a wide thickness span (3–50 mm) making it adaptable to many board applications. The metric internal thread allows attachments to be removed and refitted repeatedly, increasing flexibility. Expanding arms open inside the cavity and provide a large bearing surface for high load capacity. Claws at the edge of the anchor bite into the board material to prevent rotation and ensure a secure installation.

Suitable for

• Mounting lights on gypsum fibre board and plasterboard
• Fixing towel rails to hollow panel walls
• Installing curtain rails in board building materials
• General attachments requiring a removable metric-threaded anchor in cavity walls

How to use

Drill a hole of the specified diameter into the board material to the required depth. Insert the HM-S anchor into the pre-positioned hole. Set the anchor in the cavity either using fischer installation pliers HM-Z 1 (which pull the anchor and open the expanding arms) or by tightening with a screwdriver/cordless screwdriver until the expanding arms engage against the reverse side of the board. After setting, attach the fixture using a suitable metric screw into the anchor's internal thread. The detachable thread allows removal and refitting of the fixture as needed.

Recommendations

Use the specified drill diameter and check board thickness before selection. For repeatable high loads, verify the substrate and follow load tables provided by the manufacturer. When possible, use the fischer HM-Z 1 installation pliers for reliable pre-positioned setting in hollow panels.
