Wiha 46544 is a 9-piece SoftFinish Limited Edition screwdriver set with insulated handles designed for precise fastening and everyday repair tasks. The set comprises nine screwdrivers that combine ergonomic SoftFinish handles with hardened tips to ensure reliable torque transfer and improved control. Intended for general maintenance, electrical work requiring insulated grips, and tasks that demand accuracy, this set balances comfort and functional durability for both professional technicians and DIY users.

Advantages

The SoftFinish handles offer an ergonomic shape and a non-slip surface that reduces hand fatigue during extended use while providing secure grip. Insulated handles increase user safety when working near live circuits by reducing the risk of accidental contact. Hardened, precisely machined tips ensure a consistent fit in screw heads, lowering the chance of cam-out and allowing efficient torque application. The limited edition finish provides a clear visual identification of the set.

Suitable for

• Electrical maintenance and light electrical repairs where insulated grips are required
• General fastening and assembly work in workshops and at home
• Precision tightening of small and medium fasteners in technical or electronic equipment
• Professional technicians and skilled DIY users requiring ergonomic tools

How to use

Select the screwdriver with the tip type and size that matches the screw head. Place the tip squarely into the screw recess to avoid slipping, then apply steady pressure while turning the handle. For insulated-handle tools, always verify the appropriate insulation rating for the specific electrical task and use additional protective measures when working near live circuits. Keep the screwdrivers clean and free of debris to maintain tip engagement and accuracy.

Recommendations

Store the set in a dry place to prevent corrosion of tips. Inspect tips regularly for wear and replace any worn tools to maintain fit quality. When working on electrical systems, de-energize circuits when possible and use the insulated handles as part of a broader safety protocol including appropriate personal protective equipment.
