Schuurfiberdisc 3M Cubitron II 125 x 22 mm, korrel 36+, 25-pack

Abrasive Fiber Disc 3M Cubitron II 125 x 22 mm, grit 36+, pack of 25 is a high-performance grinding disc designed for aggressive material removal on metal and other hard surfaces. The 125 mm diameter and 22 mm centre hole fit standard angle grinders. The disc features 3M Cubitron II precision-shaped ceramic grains that deliver fast cutting, consistent stock removal and extended life compared with conventional abrasives. Supplied in a practical pack of 25, these fiber discs are intended for professional surface preparation, weld cleaning and effective deburring operations.

Advantages

The Cubitron II ceramic abrasive cuts faster and stays cooler, reducing heat buildup and extending disc life while maintaining consistent performance across the pack. The fibre backing provides rigidity and control for even material removal and improved stability during grinding. A 36+ grit rating balances aggressive cutting with a finish suitable for follow-up welding or preparation steps. The discs are compatible with angle grinders that accept a 22 mm arbor hole for quick mounting and replacement.

Suitable for

• Grinding and stock removal on steel and stainless steel
• Weld seam cleaning and weld preparation
• Deburring and edge rounding of metal components
• Surface preparation before painting or coating
• Grinding on castings and other hard substrates

Key specifications

• Diameter: 125 mm
• Arbor hole: 22 mm
• Abrasive type: Cubitron II precision-shaped ceramic grain
• Grit size: 36+
• Backing: fibre disc construction for rigidity
• Quantity: 25 discs per pack

How to use

Install the disc onto an angle grinder with a matching 22 mm arbor, ensuring the grinder is unplugged or the battery removed during fitting. Secure the disc with the appropriate flange and tightening tool, then perform a brief spin check before applying power. Use steady pressure and keep the disc flat or at a slight angle depending on the task; avoid excessive force that can cause overheating or premature wear. Replace discs when the abrasive becomes worn, torn or significantly reduced in diameter to maintain safe and effective grinding.

Recommendations

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment including eye and face protection, hearing protection and gloves. Use the discs within the grinder’s rated speed limits and follow the grinder manufacturer’s safety instructions. For best results, store the discs in a dry environment away from extreme temperatures and humidity to preserve abrasive performance.
