Schuurpad Bosch 2 608 000 351 1 st.

The Bosch 2 608 000 351 sanding pad is an accessory intended for use with compatible Bosch sanders to achieve even material removal and a smooth surface finish. Supplied as a single pad, it is made from durable materials that maintain shape under pressure and provide consistent contact with workpieces across wood, painted surfaces, and other common substrates.

Advantages

This sanding pad offers uniform abrasion distribution and reliable attachment to compatible sanding tools, reducing uneven wear and improving sanding control. Its construction supports repeated use while preserving the pad’s flat profile for consistent results. The pad’s compatibility with Bosch sanders simplifies replacement and ensures correct fit and function during sanding tasks.

Suitable for

• Sanding and smoothing wooden surfaces before finishing
• Removing old paint or varnish from furniture and fixtures
• Surface preparation for repainting or refinishing
• Light material removal on soft metals and composites when used with appropriate abrasive sheets

Key specifications

• Quantity: 1 piece per pack
• Intended use: sanding pad for handheld or orbital sanders compatible with Bosch accessories
• Material characteristics: durable, shape-retaining pad suitable for repeated contact
• Typical applications: finishing, smoothing, and surface preparation on wood, coated surfaces, and composite materials

How to use

Attach the sanding pad to the compatible Bosch sander according to the tool manufacturer’s instructions, ensuring secure fit and proper alignment. Apply even pressure during operation and move the sander in overlapping passes to avoid creating low spots. Replace the pad if it becomes excessively worn or deformed to maintain consistent sanding performance. Use appropriate abrasive sheets or discs compatible with the pad and the specific material being worked on.

Recommendations

For optimal results, select abrasive grit matched to the task — coarser grits for faster material removal and finer grits for smoothing and finishing. Keep the workpiece clean and free of large debris, and check the pad regularly for wear. When sanding painted surfaces, follow safety guidance for dust extraction and personal protective equipment.
