Schuurplaat KWB 484200 handschuurset P120 93x230 mm

Sanding plate KWB 484200 is a manual hand sander kit for sanding sheets sized 93 x 230 mm. The set includes a sanding plate with spring clamps and two mesh sanding sheets with P120 grit. Mesh sheets are fiberglass-reinforced, resin-bonded with silicon carbide abrasive, designed to smooth filler and remove paint, resin, acrylic lacquer or rust while resisting clogging.

Advantages

The hand sander accepts standard 93 x 230 mm sanding sheets and uses spring clamps for quick sheet fixation. Mesh sanding sheets combine fiberglass reinforcement and silicon carbide for durable abrasive performance and reduced clogging when working with fillers, paints and lacquers. The P120 grit provides medium sanding aggressiveness suitable for surface preparation and smoothing.

How to use

Attach a 93 x 230 mm mesh sanding sheet to the plate by opening the spring clamps, aligning the sheet edges and releasing the clamps to secure it. Sand the surface with even pressure and overlapping strokes, keeping the plate flat to avoid creating grooves. Replace the sheet when abrasive performance decreases or the sheet becomes clogged.

Recommendations

For best results on filler and paint removal, use steady, light-to-moderate pressure and check the work frequently. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and a dust mask when sanding. Dispose of used sanding sheets according to local waste regulations.
