Sectorantenne UBIQUITI AMO-5G10, 5 GHz, 10 dBi, dual-polarisatie, wandmontage, wit

The Ubiquiti AMO-5G10 is a 10 dBi sector antenna for the 5 GHz frequency band, featuring dual polarization and a focused horizontal beam width of 12°. Its compact dimensions (582 mm × 90 mm × 65 mm) and white housing make it suitable for outdoor wireless installations where directional coverage and reliable performance are required. The antenna delivers carrier-class links with a VSWR of 1.6:1 and is intended to integrate with Ubiquiti radios such as RocketM (radio sold separately).

Advantages

This sector antenna offers high gain and a narrow horizontal beam for concentrated coverage, dual polarization for improved link reliability, and compatibility with Ubiquiti airMAX systems. Using Ubiquiti’s TDMA-based airMAX protocol reduces collisions and improves airtime efficiency compared with standard Wi‑Fi, which enhances latency, throughput, and scalability for outdoor deployments.

Suitable for

• Outdoor sector coverage for 5 GHz links
• Backhaul connections with RocketM or compatible radios
• High-density deployments requiring directed coverage

Key specifications

• Frequency band: 5 GHz
• Antenna gain: 10 dBi
• Polarization: Dual polarization
• Horizontal beamwidth: 12°
• VSWR: 1.6:1
• Dimensions: 582 × 90 × 65 mm
• Weight: 0.68 kg
• Color: White

How to use

Mount the AMO-5G10 on an appropriate mast or bracket aimed to cover the intended sector. Pair the antenna with a compatible Ubiquiti radio (for example, RocketM) using the recommended RF cabling and connectors; the radio is sold separately. Configure the radio to use airMAX mode to take advantage of TDMA scheduling and intelligent QoS for voice and video traffic. Verify alignment and perform signal testing to optimise throughput and link stability.

Recommendations

Install the antenna at an elevated, unobstructed location and secure all connectors against moisture. Use compatible Ubiquiti radios and configure airMAX features to reduce latency and maximise capacity. For long-distance links, ensure proper line-of-sight and perform regular signal checks.
