The DIGITUS Unique Server-N series freestanding server cabinet offers a 42U rack capacity in a 800 x 1200 mm footprint and is designed for professional IT environments. Constructed from robust sheet steel with electrostatic powder coating, the cabinet provides IP20 protection and supports a maximum load capacity of 1200 kg on the 483 mm (19") profile rails. The design includes perforated front and rear doors, adjustable and numbered profile rails, modular base chassis and multiple cable routing options for organised infrastructure deployment.

How to use

Place the assembled cabinet on a level surface and adjust the included M10 levelling feet to stabilise the unit. Open removable side panels and doors using the swivel handle and profile half‑cylinder locks to access the interior. Install 19" equipment on the galvanized profile rails and set the mounting depth within the 400–1135 mm range to accommodate device depth. Route network and power cables through the floor, side or roof inlets and use the vertical cable ducts with routing aids to organise cabling. Attach PDUs to the integrated holders in the rear area and, if required, prepare the roof for a fan unit to improve active cooling.

Recommendations

For safe operation, distribute heavy equipment evenly across the profile rails and secure all mounted devices according to rack mounting guidelines. Ensure Earth bonding via the cabinet earthing points and maintain clear airflow by keeping perforations unobstructed. Use appropriate server-room cooling and monitor total load to avoid exceeding the 1200 kg rail capacity.
