ShiverPeaks 5m Cat.6 netwerkkabel zwart Cat6 U/UTP RJ-45

The Tecline 5m Cat.6 networking cable Black Cat6 U/UTP RJ-45 by ShiverPeaks is a 5-metre Category 6 patch cable designed for Ethernet connections in home and office environments. The cable uses U/UTP shielding (overall foil with unshielded twisted pairs) and standard RJ-45 connectors to support high-speed data transmission, stable signal integrity and compatibility with Cat6 network equipment.

Advantages

This Cat.6 cable provides reliable performance for gigabit and multi-gigabit networks within its specified application range. The U/UTP construction reduces electromagnetic interference from external sources while remaining flexible and easy to route. Standard RJ-45 connectors ensure broad compatibility with routers, switches, network cards and wall jacks. The 5 m length balances reach and signal quality for common desktop and rack installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, laptops or game consoles to routers and switches
• Patch connections between network switches and patch panels in small offices
• Home network wiring for streaming, online gaming and video conferencing
• Short-run connections in server rooms where Cat6 performance is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Length: 5 metres
• Shielding: U/UTP (overall foil with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Conductor type: twisted pair copper conductors
• Typical supported speeds: up to 1 Gbps and compatible with higher multi-gigabit links depending on network equipment
• Colour: black

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector firmly into the network port of the device and the corresponding port on the router, switch or wall outlet. Ensure connectors click into place and verify link/activity LEDs on network equipment. For permanent routing, avoid tight bends and secure the cable with clips or cable ties without compressing the sheath. When replacing an existing cable, power down sensitive equipment if required by your network hardware before disconnecting.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 U/UTP cable for typical horizontal and patch cabling runs up to 5 metres. Keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as heavy-duty electrical wiring and motors. For installations requiring screened pairs or outdoor exposure, choose an appropriately shielded or weatherproof cable variant.
