Audiokabel S/CONN 69002-15 15 m TOSLINK zwart

The ShiverPeaks Audio Cable S/CONN 69002-15 is a 15-meter TOSLINK optical audio cable engineered for digital audio connections between source devices and audio systems. It uses fiber optic transmission to carry digital audio signals with minimal electromagnetic interference, and comes in a black finish with molded male TOSLINK connectors on each end and gold-plated contacts for improved connection reliability.

Advantages

The cable’s 15 m length enables flexible placement of equipment across rooms or home-theater setups without signal degradation typical of electrical cables. Fiber optic construction eliminates susceptibility to radio-frequency and electromagnetic interference, ensuring a consistent digital audio path. Gold-plated connector contacts provide stable mating and reduce the risk of intermittent contact, while the molded connector housings improve strain relief and durability.

Suitable for

• Connecting TVs to external soundbars or home-theater receivers
• Linking CD/DVD/Blu-ray players to audio receivers
• Integrating digital audio between media players and DACs or amplifiers
• Installations where long, interference-free optical runs are required

Key specifications

• Cable type: TOSLINK (optical fiber digital audio)
• Length: 15 meters
• Connector gender: male-to-male
• Connector plating: gold-plated contacts for improved contact reliability
• Color: black
• Construction: molded connector housings with fiber optic core

How to use

Align the rectangular TOSLINK plug with the optical input on your device and insert gently until it seats; do not force the connector. Use the opposite end to connect to the receiving device’s optical input or output. Keep the cable bend radius moderate and avoid tight kinks to preserve the fiber core performance. For best results, ensure both device optical ports are free of dust before connecting.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, route the cable away from sources of mechanical stress and avoid sharp bends; secure with cable ties that do not crush the sheath. When connecting audio devices, select the optical audio output option in device menus if required. If signal loss or intermittent audio occurs, inspect connector end-faces for dust and clean with a dry, lint-free cloth or compressed air designed for electronics.
