SHIVERPEAKS BS10-01001 HDMI naar VGA + 3,5mm audio actieve converter, 1080p, zwart

Unlike passive HDMI-to-VGA cables that fail on modern laptops or streaming boxes, the SHIVERPEAKS BS10-01001 is an active digital-to-analog converter with its own chipset. It reliably turns an HDMI signal into VGA video plus separate 3.5 mm stereo audio, even when the source device lacks native analog output. This makes it the practical bridge between current HDMI-only equipment and the countless projectors, monitors, and KVM setups still using VGA.

Highlights

• Active HDMI to VGA conversion with integrated audio extraction
• Supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 (1080p) at 60 Hz
• HDCP compliant, allowing playback of protected content on VGA displays
• USB-powered for stable operation without an external power brick
• Plug-and-play: no driver or software installation required

In daily use

Connect the HDMI plug directly to a laptop, media player, or game console, then run a standard VGA cable to the display. The 3.5 mm jack carries stereo audio for speakers or a projector's audio input. Because the converter draws power over USB, it works with devices that do not provide enough current through the HDMI port alone. The compact black housing keeps cable clutter low and fits easily into a laptop bag.
