ShiverPeaks BS30-37085 actieve USB 3.1 verlengkabel 15 m

Extend your USB connection across large rooms with this active USB 3.1 extension cable. The integrated signal amplifier maintains stable data transfer over 15 meters, making it suitable for connecting devices like cameras, VR headsets, or interactive whiteboards where a standard cable would lose signal.

Key specifications

• USB 3.1 Gen 1 standard with data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps
• Connectors: USB Type-A male to USB Type-A female
• Active cable with built-in signal repeater for extended reach
• Double shielded (foil and braid) for reliable performance
• Backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices

Why choose it

This cable overcomes the usual length limitations of passive USB cables by actively boosting the signal. It is bus-powered, so no external power supply is needed for most devices, though an optional DC jack is available for high-power peripherals. The tinned copper conductors and double shielding ensure consistent data integrity even in electromagnetically noisy environments.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting a USB camera at the back of a conference room
• Extending a VR headset's cable for a larger play area
• Positioning a USB peripheral far from the host computer
• Interactive whiteboards in classrooms or meeting rooms

Good to know

The cable is compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux without additional drivers. Its black PVC jacket is durable for fixed installations, and the active electronics are housed inline without adding bulk to the connectors.
