SHIVERPEAKS BS30-38105 Actieve optische USB-A-naar-USB-C-kabel, 25 m, USB 3.2 Gen 1, 5 Gbps, zwart

For installations where a standard copper USB cable falls short, this SHIVERPEAKS BS30-38105 active optical cable (AOC) bridges the gap with a 25-meter reach and full USB 3.2 Gen 1 performance. The fibre-optic core carries data at 5 Gbps without signal degradation, while copper conductors deliver bus power to the connected device. The cable is directional: the USB-A connector must be plugged into the host (PC, laptop, console), and the USB-C connector into the peripheral.

Highlights

• Active optical cable (AOC) with USB-A male to USB-C male connectors
• 25 m length for long-distance connectivity
• USB 3.2 Gen 1 (SuperSpeed) data transfer up to 5 Gbps
• Fibre-optic data core with copper power wires
• Directional design: USB-A to host, USB-C to device
• Plug-and-play, no external power or drivers required
• Backward compatible with USB 2.0 and 1.1 devices
• Durable PVC/ABS housing in black

In daily use

This cable is ideal for connecting high-bandwidth peripherals over distances that would cause errors or disconnects with passive cables. Use it for remote cameras, VR headsets, industrial sensors, or any USB 3.0/3.1 device that must be placed far from the computer. The optical transmission is immune to electromagnetic interference, ensuring reliable data integrity even in electrically noisy environments. Note that power delivery is limited to standard USB bus power (5V/0.9A), so devices requiring higher wattage should be powered separately.

Final note

When you need to extend USB 3.0/3.1 connections beyond the 3–5 metre limit of copper cables, the SHIVERPEAKS BS30-38105 delivers stable 5 Gbps performance over 25 metres. Its active optical design ensures that distance is no longer a barrier to high-speed data transfer.
