ShiverPeaks BS51300 kabelverbinder 2,5 mm zwart stekker

The ShiverPeaks BS51300 Wire Connector 2.5 mm Black Male is a compact electrical connector designed for reliable connections in audio, video and general-purpose wiring. Its 2.5 mm male contact and black housing provide a discrete, standard-sized interface for signal or low-voltage power lines. The connector is intended for installations where a robust mechanical and electrical contact is required while maintaining a small footprint.

Advantages

The connector offers a standardized 2.5 mm male contact that ensures consistent mating with compatible sockets and plugs. Its black housing improves visual integration in dark enclosures and cabling runs. Constructed to provide stable electrical contact, the design reduces the risk of intermittent connections and supports repeated mating cycles. The compact size helps save space in equipment panels and cable assemblies.

Suitable for

• Audio and video equipment wiring and patching
• Low-voltage signal connections in consumer electronics
• Internal connections in compact devices and enclosures
• Prototyping and custom cable assemblies

Key specifications

• Connector type: 2.5 mm male contact
• Colour: Black housing
• Application: Signal and low-voltage connections
• Size: Compact footprint for space-constrained installations

How to use

Prepare the cable by stripping the insulation to the required length for the 2.5 mm male contact and ensure conductor strands are twisted or tinned as appropriate. Insert the conductor into the connector contact and secure it according to the mounting method of the specific variant (crimp, solder or screw, if applicable). After assembly, verify that the connector mates correctly with the corresponding socket and that the connection is mechanically secure. Test continuity and insulation before putting the assembled cable into service.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use the ShiverPeaks BS51300 with matching 2.5 mm female sockets and avoid exposing the connector to excessive mechanical strain or moisture. Follow standard wiring practices and verify compatibility with the equipment's voltage and current requirements.
