SHIVERPEAKS BS77905/3 5m ST naar ST OM3 multimode duplex glasvezel patchkabel, aqua

High-speed data centers and enterprise networks demand reliable, low-loss fiber optic connections that can handle 10 Gigabit Ethernet without signal degradation. The SHIVERPEAKS BS77905/3 answers that need with a 5-meter OM3 multimode duplex patch cable terminated with ST connectors on both ends. Its aqua jacket is the industry-standard color for OM3 fiber, making it instantly recognizable in crowded patch panels and simplifying cable management.

Who is it for

This cable is built for network engineers, data center technicians, and IT professionals who require a dependable link for 10GbE backbone connections, Fibre Channel storage networks, or high-bandwidth server interconnects. It suits both new installations and upgrades of legacy multimode systems where ST connectors are still prevalent.

Main features

• OM3 laser-optimized multimode fiber supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 300 meters at 850 nm
• Duplex construction with two 50/125 µm fibers for bidirectional communication
• ST (Straight Tip) connectors with bayonet-style locking for secure, vibration-resistant mating
• Aqua-colored PVC jacket for easy identification and durability in high-density environments
• Low insertion loss (< 0.3 dB typical) ensures minimal signal attenuation
• Compliant with TIA/EIA-568-C.3 and RoHS standards

Tips

When installing, avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius (typically 10x cable diameter) to prevent microbending losses. Use dust caps on unused connectors to keep end faces clean, and inspect with a fiber microscope before mating to ensure optimal performance. For mixed OM3/OM4 environments, this cable will operate at OM3 specifications.
