Gitaar-effectpedaal Behringer B-TRON III Envelope Filter

The Behringer B-TRON III Envelope Filter is a compact guitar effect pedal that produces dynamic filter tones controlled by the input signal. Designed for electric guitar and compatible instruments, the unit offers adjustable sensitivity and filter frequency controls to shape the envelope response and the character of the filter sweep. Its rugged metal housing and straightforward control layout make it suitable for both stage and studio use.

Advantages

The pedal provides a wide palette of filter effects without complex menus or deep setup, allowing quick tone adjustments during practice or performance. Adjustable sensitivity permits responsive tracking of playing dynamics, while the filter frequency control lets users set the sweep range. The compact form factor conserves pedalboard space and the durable construction supports regular transport and live use.

Suitable for

• Electric guitar players seeking envelope-controlled wah and auto-wah tones
• Session musicians and live performers needing compact modulation effects
• Producers and engineers adding rhythmic filter motion in studio recordings
• Beginners exploring dynamic filter effects without complex signal chains

Key specifications

• Effect type: Envelope filter / auto-wah
• Controls: Sensitivity and filter frequency
• Input: Instrument-level (guitar) compatible
• Construction: Metal housing designed for stage use
• Power: External DC power supply required (standard pedalboard adapter)
• Form factor: Compact stompbox design

How to use

Connect the guitar to the input and the amplifier or next pedal to the output, then power the unit using a compatible DC adapter. Start with control knobs at mid positions, play and adjust the sensitivity control until the filter responds to your picking dynamics. Use the filter frequency control to shift the sweep range higher or lower to taste. Fine-tune while playing to achieve desired envelope tracking and tonal character.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, use a regulated 9V DC adapter with correct polarity and adequate current rating. Place the pedal after drives or compressors in the signal chain for clearer envelope detection, or experiment with different positions to find preferred interaction with other effects. Regularly check input/output cables and switch contacts to maintain reliable operation during live use.
