Shiverpeaks Cat.6A S/FTP patchkabel, RJ45, 0,5 m, blauw, LSZH, PIMF

In high-density network environments, every unshielded or poorly constructed cable can introduce interference, packet loss, and slowdowns that disrupt critical operations. The Shiverpeaks Cat.6A S/FTP patch cable delivers the robust shielding and precise engineering needed to maintain clean, high-speed data transmission, even in electrically noisy settings. With a length of just 0.5 meters, it is ideal for connecting adjacent equipment within a rack or patch panel, reducing clutter while ensuring optimal signal integrity.

Who is it for

This cable is designed for IT professionals, network administrators, and home users who demand reliable, future-proof connectivity. Whether you are setting up a data center, upgrading your office network to 10 Gigabit Ethernet, or simply replacing a substandard cable, this Cat.6A S/FTP patch cable offers the performance and durability you need.

Main features

• Cat.6A (Class EA) performance: Supports 10GBASE-T Ethernet and bandwidth up to 500 MHz, ensuring high-speed data transfer for demanding applications.
• S/FTP shielding: Each pair is individually shielded with metal foil (PIMF), and the cable has an overall braided shield, providing excellent protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI) and crosstalk.
• High-quality construction: Stranded copper conductors (AWG 26/7) offer flexibility and durability, while the LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket ensures safety in case of fire.
• Snagless molded boots: Protect the RJ45 connectors from damage during installation and removal, extending the cable's lifespan.
• Gold-plated contacts: Ensure reliable, corrosion-resistant connections for consistent performance.
• PoE support: Compatible with Power over Ethernet (PoE, PoE+, PoE++), allowing power and data over a single cable.

Tips

For best performance, ensure that the cable is not bent beyond its minimum bend radius and avoid running it parallel to power cables. Use cable management solutions to maintain proper separation and reduce stress on connectors. This 0.5m length is perfect for short hops between patch panels and switches, keeping your rack tidy and airflow unobstructed.
