Kabeladapter S/CONN 10-01001 HDMI Type A VGA D-Sub 3.5mm wit

The ShiverPeaks Cable Gender Changer S/CONN 10-01001 features an HDMI Type A (Standard) connector on one end and a VGA (D-Sub) connector plus a 3.5mm audio jack on the other, presented in a white finish. This adapter is designed to bridge devices with HDMI outputs to displays or projectors that accept VGA video input while providing a separate 3.5mm connection for audio. Its compact form factor and neutral color make it suitable for home, office, and classroom setups where mixed-interface compatibility is required.

Advantages

The adapter enables connection between HDMI-equipped sources and VGA-equipped displays without requiring separate converters for basic setups, and includes an integrated 3.5mm audio connection to carry sound when the VGA display lacks audio input. The white housing offers a discreet appearance, and the cable’s construction is intended for stable signal transmission and regular everyday use.

Suitable for

• Connecting laptops or media players with HDMI output to VGA projectors or monitors
• Presentations in meeting rooms or classrooms that use older VGA-only displays
• Home entertainment setups where audio must be routed separately via 3.5mm

Key specifications

• Connector 1: HDMI Type A (Standard)
• Connector 2: VGA (D-Sub) plus 3.5mm audio jack
• Product colour: White

How to use

Connect the HDMI Type A end to the source device’s HDMI output, and insert the VGA connector into the display or projector’s VGA input. Plug a 3.5mm audio cable from the source’s audio output (or from the adapter’s audio jack if applicable) to the display or external speakers to transmit sound. Ensure both devices are powered on and select the appropriate input on the display. Adjust display resolution settings on the source device to match the capabilities of the VGA display for optimal image quality.

Recommendations

Use the adapter with devices that support analog VGA input and separate audio routing. For best results, verify the display’s maximum supported resolution and set the source device accordingly. Avoid sharp bends near the connector ends and handle connections gently to preserve connector integrity.
