Netwerkkabel Groen Cat7 S/FTP S/CONN RJ45-RJ45 30m

This ShiverPeaks Networking Cable Green Cat7 S/FTP S/CONN RJ45-RJ45 30m is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transfer and reliable network connections. The cable conforms to Cat7 performance characteristics and features S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pairs with overall braid) construction to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Both ends are terminated with RJ45 connectors plated in gold to improve contact reliability and conductivity. The 30 meter length and green jacket make it suitable for visible installations where a longer run and distinctive color are required.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides improved protection against alien crosstalk and EMI compared with unshielded cables, supporting stable high-bandwidth connections. Gold-plated RJ45 contacts offer lower contact resistance and more stable signal transmission over time. The cable's Cat7 specification allows for higher frequency performance than earlier categories, making it appropriate for gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet applications. A flexible outer jacket and secure connectors simplify routing and plugging in tight spaces.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat7 performance class
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foiled twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ45 to RJ45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 30 m
• Cable color: green
• Suitable frequency range: designed for higher-frequency Ethernet signalling
• Outer jacket: flexible PVC/LSZH (material as supplied by manufacturer)

How to use

Route the cable between network devices ensuring gentle bends and avoiding sharp kinks; maintain separation from power cables and strong EMI sources where possible. Insert RJ45 connectors fully into the ports until the latch clicks to ensure proper contact. For permanent installations, verify cable length and routing path before final fastening. Test the link with a network tester or by confirming negotiated speed on connected devices to ensure correct performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bends (respect the manufacturer's minimum bend radius), keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines, and use shielded patch panels and correctly grounded equipment when deploying S/FTP cabling in environments with significant electromagnetic interference.
