Netwerkkabel S/CONN 08-22025 zwart 1m Cat6 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-22025 Black 1m Cat6 U/UTP is a 1-metre patch cable designed for standard Ethernet connections. It conforms to the Cat6 specification and uses U/UTP (unshielded overall, unshielded twisted pair) construction. The cable is fitted with RJ-45 connectors plated with gold to support reliable contact and data transmission up to 1000 Mbit/s. The black outer jacket provides a neutral appearance for home or office installations.

Advantages

This Cat6 U/UTP cable offers a combination of industry-standard signalling performance and a compact 1 m length for short-distance connectivity. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors reduce the risk of contact corrosion and provide consistent electrical contact. The U/UTP design facilitates flexible routing in cable trays and conduits while meeting typical Gigabit Ethernet speed requirements. The simple black jacket is suitable for visible and hidden cable runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, laptops, or networked devices to a switch or router over short distances
• Patch panel-to-switch links in office or data cabinet environments
• Home networking connections for streaming and online gaming within a single room
• Temporary or permanent desktop cabling where a 1 metre length is sufficient

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Length: 1 m
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded overall, unshielded twisted pair)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Color: black

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port on your devices until the latch clicks. Use the cable for direct device-to-switch, device-to-router or patch panel connections where a 1 metre cable provides the required reach. Avoid sharp bends near the connector ends and maintain gentle curves along the run. For best performance, keep the cable separated from mains power lines and sources of electromagnetic interference where possible.

Recommendations

For reliable Gigabit performance, use the cable for links up to its 1 metre length indoors and in typical office or home environments. When installing multiple cables in bundles or trays, do not over-tighten cable ties and ensure adequate bend radius to preserve transmission properties.
