Netwerkkabel S/CONN 08-41046 wit 3m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-41046 White 3m Cat8.1 F/FTP is a 3-metre high-performance Ethernet cable built to Cat8.1 specifications. Designed for demanding local networks, it uses F/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain stable data throughput. RJ-45 connectors with gold plating provide corrosion resistance and consistent contact for long-term reliability. The cable's white jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for office, studio, or home installations.

Advantages

F/FTP shielding around individually foil‑wrapped pairs and an overall foil layer delivers improved protection from crosstalk and external noise, supporting reliable high-frequency signals. The Cat8.1 classification supports higher bandwidths suitable for modern network equipment, while gold‑plated RJ-45 contacts enhance connection durability and signal integrity. At 3 metres length the cable balances reach and low latency for rack-to-desk or device-to-switch connections without excess slack.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired connections between switches, routers, and servers in data closets
• Workstation or desktop connections requiring low-latency, high-bandwidth links
• Home office setups with gigabit or multi-gigabit Internet and networked devices
• A/V streaming and media servers where reduced interference improves stability

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Length: 3 m
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil + foil around each pair)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Outer colour: White

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (switch, router, or NIC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the second device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as large power transformers or unshielded heavy machinery. For permanent installations, secure the cable using cable ties or clips without compressing the jacket to maintain shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable for short-distance, high-bandwidth links within equipment rooms or between endpoints in the same rack or adjacent racks. Verify compatibility of your network hardware with Cat8.1 specifications and avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines to minimize residual interference.
