Netwerkkabel S/CONN 08-41061 blauw 7,5 m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-41061 Blue 7.5m Cat8.1 F/FTP is a high-performance patch cable designed for fast, low-latency data connections. Compliant with Cat8.1 specifications and constructed with F/FTP (foil-shielded, individually foil-paired) cabling, this 7.5 meter cable provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. It is terminated with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts to support stable signal transfer for modern network equipment. The blue jacket offers clear visual identification within racks and structured cabling runs.

Advantages

Built to Cat8.1 standards, the cable supports higher bandwidths and tighter performance tolerances than lower-category patch cords. F/FTP shielding reduces external noise and preserves signal integrity over the full 7.5 m length. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts provide reliable mating and corrosion resistance for consistent connection quality. The flexible jacket and molded strain reliefs simplify installation in patch panels, switches, and wall outlets while minimizing stress at termination points.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired connections in data centers and server rooms
• Backbone and aggregation links within enterprise networks
• Workstation and desktop connections requiring low latency
• Home labs and professional AV installations where shielded cabling is needed

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (overall foil with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Contacts: gold-plated
• Jacket color: blue
• Typical use: patch cable for high-speed Ethernet

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (switch, router, NIC or patch panel) and the other end to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive mechanical stress; maintain bend radii recommended by networking equipment manufacturers to preserve signal performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable in shielded or grounded installations with compatible shielded equipment. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines for extended distances and maintain appropriate separation from noisy electrical sources. Periodically inspect connectors for debris or damage and replace the cable if the jacket or terminations show signs of wear.
