Staalkabel EUROLITE 900 x 3 mm zilver — staalkabel zonder stekker

EUROLITE steel cable 900 x 3 mm in silver is a thin, flexible wire rope supplied without a connector. Manufactured for general-purpose applications, this steel cable offers a compact diameter and a metal construction that provides dependable tensile strength for light rigging, hanging fixtures, securing items and other tasks where a slim, strong line is required. Final attachment and termination depend on the connectors or end fittings selected by the user.

Advantages

This steel cable combines a small 3 mm diameter with flexible construction for easy handling and routing through pulleys or small openings. The silver finish resists visible corrosion and suits visible installations. Supplied without connectors, the rope gives users freedom to apply the appropriate end fittings for the intended load and environment, allowing custom terminations such as ferrules, threaded fittings or quick links. The cable’s construction provides consistent tensile performance for light-duty mechanical applications.

How to use

Select end fittings, connectors or terminations appropriate for the intended load and safety requirements before use. Cut the cable to the required length using a suitable cable cutter, then secure ends with the chosen ferrules, clamps or threaded fittings following manufacturer instructions for those accessories. When hanging lights or equipment, ensure fixtures, anchors and the cable together meet the required working load limit and safety factor. Inspect the cable and all terminations before each use and replace if corrosion, broken strands, kinks or other damage are present.

Recommendations

Use compatible connectors rated for the expected loads and apply proper installation techniques (swaging, clamping or threaded fittings) to achieve reliable terminations. Avoid sharp bends and abrasion points; protect the cable with sleeves or edge protectors where it contacts rough surfaces. For critical or safety-related applications, consult relevant load charts and standards or a qualified engineer.
