Netwerkkabel S/CONN 08-41081 blauw 15 m Cat8.1 F/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-41081 Blue 15m Cat8.1 F/FTP is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for demanding network environments. Compliant with Cat8.1 standards, this 15-meter cable uses F/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and support stable, high-speed data transmission. The cable is terminated with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts to improve conductivity and resist corrosion. The blue jacket provides clear visual identification and blends into modern installations.

Advantages

The F/FTP shielding construction delivers effective protection against crosstalk and external noise, helping to maintain signal integrity across longer runs. Cat8.1 compliance enables support for higher bandwidths and faster data rates compared with lower-category cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure reliable connectivity and lower contact resistance. The 15 m length offers flexibility for routing between racks, workstations, patch panels, and network devices while the durable outer jacket resists wear from regular installation and repositioning.

Suitable for

• High-speed LAN connections in data centers and server rooms
• Backbone and horizontal cabling where elevated bandwidth is required
• Workstations and networked devices requiring stable, low-interference links
• Home or office networks with gigabit and multi-gigabit switches

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Shielding type: F/FTP (foil shield with individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 15 m
• Color: Blue
• Use: Ethernet data transmission up to Cat8.1 performance levels

How to use

Connect each RJ-45 plug to the corresponding RJ-45 ports on your network devices, switches, routers, or patch panels. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, sharp edges, or prolonged compression that could damage the internal pairs or shielding. For best performance, keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines and strong EMI sources.

Recommendations

For optimal results in high-speed and high-density installations, pair this Cat8.1 F/FTP cable with compatible Cat8-capable equipment and properly rated patch panels. When running multiple cables, maintain gentle bend radii and avoid kinking; verify connections after installation with basic link tests or a cable tester to confirm continuity and signal levels.
