Netwerkkabel S/CONN 08-64086 wit 15 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-64086 White 15 m Cat6 S/FTP is a 15-metre Ethernet cable built to meet Cat6 performance requirements. It features S/FTP shielding around the cable and individually shielded pairs to reduce electromagnetic interference, and RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts for consistent connectivity. The white outer jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for residential and professional installations.

Advantages

This Cat6 S/FTP cable delivers stable data transmission at gigabit speeds and improved noise suppression thanks to its foil and braided shields. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure corrosion resistance and reliable contact over time. The 15 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices across rooms or linking network equipment without additional couplers. The white jacket is durable and unobtrusive in visible installs.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and workstations to a router or switch
• Wiring between patch panels and network switches in small office racks
• Home networks where longer cable runs are needed without signal compromise
• Audio/video streaming setups requiring low-interference Ethernet links

Key specifications

• Standard: Category 6 (Cat6) for up to 1 Gbps Ethernet and higher bandwidth applications
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall braid plus individually foil-shielded twisted pairs
• Length: 15 metres
• Connectors: RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts
• Color: White outer jacket for discrete installation

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your router, switch or modem and the other into the device you wish to connect, such as a PC, smart TV or networked printer. Ensure connectors are inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. For wall or panel installations route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius recommended for twisted-pair cabling. If terminating or re-terminating is required, use appropriate tools and follow standard T568A or T568B wiring patterns.

Recommendations

To maintain signal quality, avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and minimize exposure to sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For permanent installations, secure the cable with clips or cable ties at intervals and avoid excessive tension on connectors.
