Netwerkkabel S/CONN 75900-25H grijs 25 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 75900-25H Grey 25m Cat6 S/FTP is a 25-metre Ethernet cable built to the Cat6 standard with S/FTP shielding. It is engineered for reliable high-speed data transmission in residential and commercial networks. The grey jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for visible runs, and the S/FTP construction reduces electromagnetic interference for improved signal integrity over typical LAN distances.

Advantages

This Cat6 S/FTP cable supports higher bandwidth and reduced crosstalk compared with lower-category cables, making it suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and other demanding network applications. The S/FTP shielding—an overall braid combined with individually shielded pairs—provides robust protection against external electromagnetic interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk. The 25 m length offers flexibility for connecting devices across rooms or between network equipment without relying on patch panels or additional couplers.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections in homes and small offices
• Wired connections for desktop PCs, NAS devices, and network printers
• Connecting switches, routers, and access points within the same floor or server closet
• Environments with moderate electromagnetic interference where shielding is beneficial

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 25 metres
• Color: Grey
• Conductor type: Twisted pair construction suitable for high-speed data
• Intended use: LAN and Ethernet networking up to Cat6 performance levels

How to use

Route the cable between the network devices ensuring the length covers the distance without excessive tension or sharp bends. Terminate with compatible RJ45 connectors or use pre-terminated ends if supplied by your installer; maintain the shielding continuity by grounding the overall shield at one end if required by your installation practice. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines for long distances to reduce interference risk.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable for Gigabit Ethernet or other high-bandwidth LAN applications and follow standard cabling practices: keep bend radius above the manufacturer’s minimum, avoid kinking, and secure runs with appropriate clips or trays. In installations with significant external interference, ensure proper grounding of the shielded cable to fully benefit from S/FTP construction.
