Netwerkkabel S/CONN 75900-50S grijs 50 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 75900-50S Grey 50m Cat6 S/FTP is a 50-metre Ethernet cable designed to deliver stable, high-speed wired networking for home and office environments. Built to Cat6 specification with S/FTP shielding, it supports fast data transmission rates while reducing electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. The neutral grey jacket fits into a variety of installations and cable management setups.

Advantages

This Cat6 S/FTP cable combines improved signal integrity with physical flexibility suitable for structured cabling. The S/FTP shielding provides overall braid protection plus individual foil shielding around pairs, minimising external noise and pair-to-pair interference. The 50 m length allows for longer runs without splicing, and the durable outer jacket resists everyday wear in both residential and commercial settings.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections in home networks
• Office workstations and point-to-point links
• Network switches, routers and patch panels
• Structured cabling in meeting rooms and server closets

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 (suitable for Gigabit Ethernet)
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall braid with foil-shielded pairs
• Length: 50 metres
• Colour: Grey outer jacket
• Conductor type: Twisted pair cable (four pairs)
• Suitable for high-speed data transmission and reduced crosstalk

How to use

Measure the required run and route the cable avoiding sharp bends and proximity to high-voltage power lines to minimise interference. Terminate the cable with compatible RJ45 connectors or use it pre-terminated with patch panels, ensuring correct pair alignment for Cat6 wiring standards. Test continuity and signal quality after installation with a network tester to confirm proper transmission performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, keep cable runs within recommended distances for Gigabit Ethernet, maintain bend radii above the manufacturer’s minimum, and avoid running parallel to power cabling. Use proper strain relief at connection points and verify link speeds after installation to ensure reliable network operation.
