Netwerkkabel S/CONN Cat5e F/UTP (FTP) RJ45–RJ45 stekker, 2 m, zwart

S/CONN Cat5e F/UTP (FTP) networking patch cable with RJ45 male connectors at both ends, 2 m length and black jacket. The cable is specified for Category 5e performance and uses foil shielding around the twisted pairs (F/UTP) to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI) in environments with moderate noise. It is intended for standard Ethernet connections between network devices and designed for use in home, office and small data closet installations.

Advantages

The Cat5e F/UTP cable provides stable data transmission for up to 1000 Mbps (Gigabit Ethernet) under typical Cat5e conditions while offering additional protection from external interference thanks to foil shielding. Its RJ45 male connectors on both ends enable plug-and-play connection to switches, routers, network interface cards and patch panels. The 2 m length and black jacket make routing and installation flexible and visually unobtrusive in most cabling setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or laptops to routers or switches
• Patch panel to switch or switch-to-switch links in small racks
• Home and office Ethernet wiring where shielded pairs are preferred
• Temporary or permanent connections in network closets and workstations

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Shielding: F/UTP (foil shield around twisted pairs)
• Connector type: RJ45 male – RJ45 male
• Length: 2 m
• Colour: Black
• Intended data rates: Suitable for up to Gigabit Ethernet under Cat5e conditions

How to use

Insert each RJ45 connector into the corresponding RJ45 port on network devices until the latch clicks. Use this cable to link a computer, switch, router or patch panel for Ethernet communication. Avoid sharp bends and kinks along the cable run, and keep the cable away from high-voltage power lines to minimise interference. For installations within racks or conduits, secure the cable with cable ties or management panels to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, use within the cable's specified 2 m length and in environments where foil shielding helps reduce EMI. If running alongside strong electrical sources or in industrial environments with high interference, consider fully shielded cable types or additional grounding measures. Regularly inspect connectors for damage and replace the cable if the jacket or plugs show wear.
