Netwerkkabel zwart Cat7 S/FTP RJ45-RJ45 0,25 m

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable Black Cat7 S/FTP RJ45-RJ45 0.25m is a short patch cable designed for reliable high-speed Ethernet connections in crowded rack, switch, and desktop environments. Constructed with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, the cable reduces electromagnetic and crosstalk interference while maintaining consistent signal transfer over gigabit and multi-gigabit networks. Its compact 0.25 m length and black jacket offer a low-profile, durable solution for short-distance links between devices.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding provides individual foil around each twisted pair plus an overall braided shield, which improves protection against external interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ45 plugs enhance conductivity and resist corrosion over time, supporting stable connection quality. The short 0.25 m length reduces excess cable clutter, helps maintain tidy cable management in dense setups, and minimizes signal attenuation on short runs. The black PVC jacket offers mechanical protection and a neutral appearance that fits most installations.

Suitable for

• Short links between network equipment (switch to patch panel or switch to server)
• High-speed Ethernet connections up to multi-gigabit supported by Cat7 cabling
• Dense rack or desktop installations where cable length needs to be minimal
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference requiring enhanced shielding

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7 (S/FTP)
• Connector type: RJ45 to RJ45
• Length: 0.25 m
• Shielding: Individually foiled pairs with overall braided shield (S/FTP)
• Contacts: Gold-plated connector contacts
• Jacket color and material: Black PVC

How to use

Connect one RJ45 end to a network device such as a switch, router, patch panel, or network interface on a computer or server, and connect the other end to the corresponding port on the paired device. Ensure both devices are powered and configured for the intended network speed. For best performance, avoid bending the cable sharply near the connectors and keep the run free from heavy mechanical stress. The cable is intended for short patch connections and should not be used as a substitute for longer permanent in-wall installations.

Recommendations

Use this 0.25 m Cat7 S/FTP cable when a short, well-shielded connection is needed inside racks, between adjacent devices, or in tight workstations. Maintain a relaxed bend radius at the connectors, keep cable paths away from strong power sources when possible, and inspect connector contacts periodically to ensure secure seating and clean contact surfaces.
