S/CONN 5m RJ45-netwerkkabel zwart Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP) 75715-HS

The S/CONN 5m RJ45 networking cable Black Cat6 S/FTP (S-STP) 75715-HS by ShiverPeaks is a Cat6 patch cable with S/FTP (S-STP) shielding designed for reliable Ethernet connections. It features halogen-free construction, gold-plated RJ45 plugs (8/8) on both ends and supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s. The 5 m length and black jacket make it suitable for typical home and office network setups where a durable, standard-compliant Cat6 connection is required.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk for improved signal integrity. Gold-plated RJ45 connectors provide consistent contact quality and corrosion resistance. Halogen-free materials minimize toxic gas emission in case of fire and meet safety considerations for indoor installations. The cable conforms to Cat6 specifications for gigabit Ethernet performance.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, routers and switches in home networks
• Office workstations and network closets
• Patch panels and patching between equipment racks
• Gigabit Ethernet applications up to 1000 Mbit/s

How to use

Plug one gold-plated RJ45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on a router, switch or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the locking tab engages. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and excessive tension; maintain bend radius consistent with Cat6 practice. For best performance, keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for short- to medium-length gigabit Ethernet links in indoor environments. For outdoor or direct-burial applications, select a cable specifically rated for those conditions. When installing in high-density patch panels, verify that the patch length and bend radius do not compromise performance.
